Sunrise After Snowfall at Massabesic
The winter of 2015-2016 in New Hampshire was mild. We didn't get much snowfall and the biggest one was about 6 inches in Southern NH. The morning after that "big" snowstorm, I was up early and headed over to Lake Massabesic to get a last view of the 5 planets and moon alignment near the horizon. I was setting up for a few sunrise shots along the shore. Just after capturing the shot of glowing branches from the sunrise, I turned around to admire the shoreline scene behind me. It was so cold that morning (about 14 degrees F) that my battery was draining fast. The sun’s glow was warming up the trees and I was able to capture this last shot right before my camera shut down. © Christie Wrazen 2016, Auburn NH, Tripod-mounted.
