If I were to pick a favorite season, well I just don't think I could. I enjoy each season for their own reasons. Spring brings life and a sense of renewal. Every year I have to make it out to see the blooming trilliums and lady's slippers. This particular trip, I happened to photograph both wildflowers. In the middle of the woods I found my perfect lady's slipper. I set up with my camera settings to capture the flower, then I hear a low humming sound and within seconds, this Eastern Bumble Bee appeared to see what was going on. With the settings set to the flower and not the motion of the bee, it gave the image the sense of movement.
