January Sunrise Over Massabesic
I woke up unusually early one January morning (I'm more of a night owl). So I set out to see what I could capture for the sunrise. I chose a spot on Lake Massabesic that was semi-frozen. The clouds were coming in but not fast enough for the sunrise. As I pulled in, a large flock of seagulls, most likely hundreds, were just waking up and circling around then flew away. In this shot I really like the calmness of the frozen surface and reflective colors along with the addition of the snowy, rocky foreground. © Christie Wrazen 2016, Auburn NH, Tripod-Mounted.
