It was 50 degrees, two days in a row in January... However, the weekend before, it was frigid. I had no intentions of going outside to do any photography. Mainly because I'm usually on-the-go and I was enjoying a lazy Saturday. However, my instincts kicked in and at very last minute I packed up my gear and headed to the lake. The sky was looking promising and I knew I was cutting it close, so I hustled. I plowed my way through thick, fresh (who knows how many feet of) snow from bombogensis. When I got to the spot, the sun had just set and more colors were starting to emerge. There were a few gusts of wind creating a smooth texture over the snow on the frozen lake. © Christie Wrazen 2018, Auburn NH, Tripod-mounted.
