I spent a day at Beaver Book in search of water fowl and marshland birds. It was spring and the ducklings and chicks have hatched and I was hoping to catch a glimpse of a new family. I did spot a few herons, geese and a merganser family. While I was exploring, I came across some blue flag flowers. What really inspired me about this flower was the asymmetry of the flower petals. The background of this image is the blue sky reflecting off of the water. © Christie Wrazen 2016, Hollis NH, Tripod-mounted.
